WHAT TOYS DID YOU PLAY WITH AS A CHILD? (other words. show our age)

More specifically, what do you remember of them???

I will start...

I played with GI Joe, and other Dolls, (action figures), lol.
boats, trains, and airplanes.

among other things.

Usually, i watched TV, as my Asthma was pretty bad. I was unable to play outside in snow more than once a season. Then of course I was inside and sick as a dog. But next season, I still went out and tried...")

I rode the minibike grandpa made for me. and enjoyed other things like that.

anyway, there is my entry to this particular forum.

you're asking me to think a long ways back
mostly i liked playing school
i had a bike, dolls, paper dolls
i didn't have a tv 'til i was in high school
listened to radio programs a lot
and we had a backyard in the apartment i lived in......swings/slide/monkeybars

Roller skates that had keys...the original hula hoop...the original slinky...Betsy McAll paper doll (from the magazine)..a wooden yoyo my grandpa made...a wooden top my grandpa made (he liked to whittle)...a bamboo flute with a dragon carved on it that my grandpa made, played hop scotch, jumped rope...red flyer wagon, a bicycle. My plastic Palomino Horse (which I still have btw). Well, there's more then that, I just don't know the names of some of the dolls I had.
I remember a bald headed Barbie, and her friend Jill (?),
They had interchangeable wigs.
I was a tomboy, and did not play with dolls. lol

Lets see. I played w/my Breyer horses more then my Barbies. Once D&D came out I bought minatures. I remember getting a card board console from a box of cereal that was part of one of the BattleStar Galatica starships & Star Wars toys (the orginals). I had a cloud flyer, a death star, a tantuan, & figures from the 1st 2 movies. Jump ropes, hula hoops, & bikes.
At age 11 I got hold of my DM's D&D books & pretty much stopped playing w/children's toys & started playing RPG games.

My favorite toy I ever had was my Talking Bubba. It was my favorite because it was one of those I played with just to drive my parents nuts. I also enjoyed doing puzzles. Even today, my husband can't get me away from them.
