Glad you got to spend some time w/your children just wish it were more. At least you have some new pics. I had hoped things would go better for you this weekend. WHEN I'M 100, IF I LEAN A LITTLE, LET ME!!

The family wheeled Grandma out on the lawn, in her
wheelchair, where the activities for her 100th birthday were
taking place.
Grandma couldn't speak very well, but she would write
notes when she needed to communicate.

After a short time out on the lawn, Grandma started leaning
off to the right, so some family members grabbed her,
straightened her up, and stuffed pillows on her right.

A short time later, she started leaning off to her left, so
again the family grabbed her and stuffed pillows on her
left.

Soon she started leaning forward, so the family members
again grabbed her, and then tied a pillowcase around her
waist to hold her up.

A nephew who arrived late came up to Grandma and said,
'Hi, Grandma, you're looki ng good! How are they
treating you?'

Grandma took out her little notepad and slowly wrote a note
to the nephew......



'Bastards won't let me fart.'

CIGARETTES AND TAMPONS
A man walks into a pharmacy and wanders up & down the aisles.
The sales girl notices him and asks him if she can help him.
He answers that he is looking for a box of tampons for his wife.
She directs him down the correct aisle.
A few minutes later, he deposits a huge bag of cotton balls and a ball of string on the counter.
She says, confused, 'Sir, I thought you were looking for some tampons for your wife?
He answers, 'You see, it's like this, yesterday, I sent my wife to the store
to get me a carton of cigarettes, and she came back with a tin of tobacco
and some rolling papers; cause it's sooo-ooo--oo-ooo much cheaper.
So, I figure if I have to roll my own .......... so does she.

And the end of the story is man is found having choked to death from trying to eat a bag of cotton balls & strings. Police are still investigating why Mr. Smith decided to go with this newest for of all fiber diet.

well family the count down has begun
i have 2 months and 7 days till i start my
first day of school for nascar
and yes im a bit scared shitless,my nerves are
on edge.but i know i will be fine lol
we will leave here around september29th so our first stop
is in to visit with Cori and Red for a bit.most likely over nite lol
i will need some sleep.so im excited but scared too. with the whole school thing.

Doing the unknown can be very scary.
You will do fine.
Just be yourself sweetheart.

While I was pregnant w/Fall Flower a friend of ours had come to Redd to advise him things you don't say to the pregnant woman.
About a week later Redd & I had gone out to dinner to Denny's. As we're sitting there getting to cut out T-bone steak & eggs I ask him (while holding a knife in one hand & a fork in the other).
"Will you love me when I'm fat?"

Redd's response was the following.
"Yes dear, I will still love you even when you blow up like a balloon."

I looked at Redd & carefully put both the fork & the knife down.
"I can't believe you said that" I told him.
His response. "I was hoping it went by you."

Our male friends in Florida are still surprised to see Redd ambulatory & on his own cognisance.

You'll do fine. You can do anything you set your mind to. New things are always scary the first time but with practice they become old hat & then you don't even think how nervous & scared you were. It'll be good, you'll see.
