Walls

Many men charged the walls and died at the hands of the defenders. Aye, they charged through the shallow water, though it chilled them to the bone. The attackers even swam the mote, to no avail. Some froze in the chilling water, others just drowned under the weight of their armor, overconfident that they “were strong and could do it”. I told them to discard their armor if they were to take that route...

I remember... I remember when the few bowmen at the parapets stopped...

As some may know, I survived a Heart Attack on this date, 2012.
when I got to ER my Blood Pressure was 230.
1 stent and an angioplasi later, I am still kicking.
Glad to still be here.

Take not what you have for granted, for suddenly it can all change and become a mess.

Well, I survived another foray into Family Social Gatherings.
Don't misunderstand me, I love my family.... Well, most of them.
The Wedding was wonderful. Everyone looked nice and behaved themselves...um, mostly.

The drive to Florida was insanely long.
I developed Food Poisoning early in the trip. We had brought some ham rolls with us and apparently the cooling process failed..

I had a fever from about 1pm Friday to destination. I did not, nor anyone else know i had a fever.
Cori did about 95 % of the driving there as I was unable to stay conscience.

And still is not speaking to me.

His lower intestine pokes thru the skin, and he is on a colostomy bag.

one of these drains is infected, it is near an open wound.
They cant do the surgery until Feb, or so 2011.

Any way, thats whats goin on in my life.

When I first started on the Lot of Grindstaff Auto, I was new with no experience in the Field.
But I knew immediately that on the lot, other salesman would try to dominate and lead me for their own gain, not mine.
Here is an account of such a test...

My first month on the job, I was learning and listening to the other more experienced Salesman. I knew almost immediately whom I liked and whom I did not.
One in particular, by the name of Brennon, liked to fancy himself the best on the lot.
And indeed he could definitely sell cars.

I have some VERY BAD NEWS.

I have always loved bats, they are a beautiful and needed creature in the night. They help control the Mosquito menace by eating them every nite... among other things.

And now they are in extreme danger of extinction!!

Now by NO MEANS am I attacking the Christian Faith, everyone here knows me better than that.

But I have a problem with something FF teacher has been teaching my daughter.

The Pledge of Allegiance.

Here is my problem, and why I am upset.

The original writing never had "under god" in it.
That phrase was added in 1954 by congress if I remember correctly.
So why are they teaching incorrectly?
Isnt there supposed to be a separation of Church and State?

Also, while the following is heresay, I feel that it is wrong to change...

I am concerned about pack, we seem to be separating, growing apart.

Any ideas to spice things up?
Get people here instead of other web sites.
We used to be close, real close.
Now it seems most of us have other things to do.

Am I being paranoid? no, i dont believe so.
Just seems that no-one is here anymore.

Lets get some events going or something, maybe a post fest.
or some kind of contest. I dunno. ANYTHING.

By no means is any one required to be here, but come on guys and gals. this is OUR home and practically no-one is here.
