I HAVE GOOD NEWS!

As of this moment, there is no detectable cancer in my body.
I did not have to do chemo today.
He put me on a maintenance dose of chemo.
I have a PET Scan to do on the 13th of this month. I do
have three hernias. One to the right of where a belly button
should be, and one in the center, and one in my small bowel.
The one in the center, has part of my bowel in it. That's the
one that hurts. I will speak to the surgeon after the results
of the PET Scan is in.
So all is good news really!

Whoo hoo!!!Congrats on the GREAT news. I hope you continue to keep the cancer away. Like Liz & Redd I strongly advise getting the hernias fixed. I want you around for a very very long time.

Congrats again. How many times do you need to be checked to make sure the cancer doesn't come back? Didn't you say this was one of those reoccurring cancers? Do you think you stopped it for good or do you think it will be back? We love you Auntie Maiden & want to keep you around for a very very long time. Have you told Melissa or Hawk & Koko yet?

Well, it will come back, its already proven that it would, by me getting it for a second time.
Yes, I have told Melissa and Jesse, but not Hawk and Koko.
I want to call them, but I don't want to waste the minutes they have.
They need those so Hawk can call Koko when he's at work.
So, maybe you can tell them for me if and when you see them?
I know I don't want to call that one man, he's ruder then I am.
I've always said I'm rude and crude with attitude, but he's worse then I am. LMBO!
I did the PET Scan yesterday. I was pooped out when I got home, I went to bed at 7.
I find that really odd as I have been a night owl for so long,
I have forgotten what it feels to live in a day persons roll.
Hope that makes sense.
Maybe when I feel better, I can get back into my usual habits again.
These chemo pills I am on, are to be taken for no more then 14 days.
My last dose will be on the 18th of this month, the day before
I see the oncologist to get my results of the PET Scan.
I am hoping that I will not have to do chemo for awhile, till the cancer comes back.

GOOD NEWS!
The PET Scan showed no signs of cancer as well!
I still have to take chemo pills though, but that's alright.
At least I won't be having to go and sit for five hours for a treatment.
I do the chemo pills for 14 days, then off of them for three weeks,
then start all over again taking them.
Tonight, hubby and I are celebrating by having BBQ'd steak tonight, with a salad too.
Hope everyone is well and as happy as I am at this moment.

Oh honey I'm so sorry I wish I could be there to hug away your pain.... I am at a loss for words... and yall know me so thats very rare... I will continue to pray for you during my daily prayers but step it up a bit to include whats been going on and for things to start getting better for you... I love you

A party sounds great to me.
My husband and I have been celebrating as well.
